Center for Community Stewardship

Support for the Center for Community Stewardship

Private and corporate contributions to the Center for Community Stewardship, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, are tax deductible as allowed under the Internal Revenue Service tax code. Donors should consult their financial advisers.

The Center’s nonprofit status enables it to serve as a fiscal agent for ad hoc citizen groups that raise money to support facilitation of community issues but lack nonprofit 501(c)3 status.

The Center is in the process of raising $500,000 to establish an endowment fund. The interest generated will be used to subsidize the community engagement visioning process and to provide seed money challenge grants to groups throughout the Midwest.
